Hello!  I'm Nils.  I was born in Madison, Wisconsin and for the most part I was raised in the Midwest, specifically Lincoln, Illinois.  However, since I left home I've been quite the gypsy.   I am a magna cum laude graduate from Illinois State University, where I earned a B.S. in Theatrical Design and Production.  

 

Since then I've worked (in various capacities) with Geva Theatre Center, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Zurich Comedy Club, and Virginia Opera.  

 

When I'm not buried in the theatre for days on end, I am a gamer with strong nerdist tendencies.  I disc golf when it's nice outside and read fantasy novels when it's not.  I am part owner of the Green Bay Packers, the only team in all of sports that I follow.  All the rest of my time is happily devoted to my girlfriend and my cat.
