The Monster's Table in Young Frankenstein
My friend and colleague Apollo Mark Weaver approached me with some pencil sketches asking if I could build this table for the production of Young Frankenstein he was designing for the JCC Center Stage in Rochester, NY. I had some spare time so I said "Sure, sounds fun!" The table needed to be mobile and sturdy enough for two actors to climb around on it while moving. It needed to lock into horizontal and upright postions. The end flaps of the table also needed to have a full 180 degree range of motion while being able to lock into three 90 positions. Here are the results....
